The MonaLisa Touch is a laser treatment for vaginal atrophy, a condition caused by decreased estrogen after menopause. This atrophy leads to vaginal dryness, painful sex, itching, UTIs, and mild incontinence. The laser stimulates collagen production to thicken and strengthen vaginal walls, improving moisture and reducing symptoms.

How does MonaLisa Touch work?
The MonaLisa Touch uses a fractional CO2 laser to target vaginal tissue. The laser creates tiny injuries that trigger the body to heal itself, boosting collagen and elastin production. This thickens and strengthens the vaginal walls, improving elasticity and blood flow. The regenerated tissue can then retain moisture better, alleviating vaginal dryness.

What are the side effects of MonaLisa Touch?

What happens during a MonaLisa Touch treatment?
The MonaLisa Touch is a fast and easy procedure similar to a pelvic exam. A numbing cream may be applied for comfort, followed by a quick laser treatment inside the vagina using a special probe. The whole thing takes about 5 minutes and allows you to go about your day as usual afterwards.

How many treatments will I need?
The number of MonaLisa Touch treatments you'll need typically ranges from three to five, spaced six to eight weeks apart. This initial series helps achieve optimal results.However, this can vary depending on your individual response and the severity of your symptoms. Maintenance treatments might be recommended every 12-18 months to sustain the benefits.

I had a 9mm kidney stone which almost ended me but was saved by this great urologist who stepped in to help cause of my very critical situation and performed an emergency surgery on me ,even though he was supposed to go on vacation but he choose to save me instead.
